Any cancelation request must be made by you in writing via e-mail to your designated Travel Consultant, mentioning the reservation number.
For Cancellations of Hotel Reservations: when you select the hotel of your choice you can consult the cancellation terms and conditions for each hotel on the links labeled Cancellation Policies. In spite of the information that you can see in the aforementioned links, below are the general cancellation policies used by GRUPO PENINSULAR DE HOTELES S.A DE C.V for the majority of the hotels:
Reservations cancelled 15 days or more before the scheduled date of arrival are subject to a charge of 10% of the total amount of the reservation.
Reservations cancelled between 14 and 3 days before the scheduled date of arrival are subject to a charge of two nights of the reservation.
Reservations cancelled less than 3 days before the scheduled date of arrival, or in case of a no show, will not be reimbursed. Likewise, no reimbursements will be granted for early exits.
The cancellation policies for the Christmas, Easter, and New Year seasons are different; please contact one of our Travel Consultants for more information.
For Cancellations of Tours and/or Ground Transportation Reservations: during the reservation process, the cancelation policies relevant to the specific tour or ground transportation will be displayed on screen for your knowledge. Below are the general cancellation policies used by GRUPO PENINSULAR DE HOTELES S.A DE C.V for the majority of the tours and ground transportation services:
Reservations cancelled 3 days or more before the scheduled date of the service are subject to a charge of 10% of the total amount of the reservation.
Reservations cancelled less than 3 days before the scheduled date of the service, or in case of a no show, will not be reimbursed.
GRUPO PENINSULAR DE HOTELES S.A DE C.V reserves the right to contract on your behalf the services referred to in these Terms and Conditions, which specify the quality and/or category contracted, with regards to carriers, hotels, and renting companies, regardless of the final lender of the services, unless it is expressly agreed that the services will be provided by a specified supplier. If there is a change in the direct lender of the service, the service will be provided by one of equal quality, if you use the service it will be understood that you consented to the aforementioned change and no complaint, compensation, or reimbursement will proceed. Once GRUPO PENINSULAR DE HOTELES S.A DE C.V receives the total payment for the services contracted from you, whether they are for flights, ground transportation, accommodation, in a package, or any other, you authorize GRUPO PENINSULAR DE HOTELES S.A DE C.V to emit, issue, or acquire the airplane tickets in your name. Both you and GRUPO PENINSULAR DE HOTELES S.A DE C.V will be in acceptance of and bound by the cancelation, issuing, and ticket sales policies of the domestic and foreign airlines, the issuing and ticket sales policies of IATA International, and the Reservation and Cancelation Policies of this site. In the case of contracted services with both domestic and foreign airlines, the cancelation policy operates as follows: You have full and absolute knowledge that any airline ticket already issued to GRUPO PENINSULAR DE HOTELES S.A DE C.V and subsequently delivered to you or upon receipt of your confirmation number the cost is not refundable in part or total under any conditions or circumstances. Once an airline ticket has been issued for you, GRUPO PENINSULAR DE HOTELES S.A DE C.V. is not responsible for any change in itinerary, or for any change or error in the data provided by you for the issuance of airline tickets, including names, ages, sex, dates, routes, airlines, classes, categories, etc. and the same applies for reservations for ground and maritime services or cruises.
You are responsible for ensuring that you meet the requirements of entry to foreign countries and that all travel documents such as passports and visas (transit, business, tourist or other) are up to date and meet the requirements for entry. GRUPO PENINSULAR DE HOTELES S.A DE C.V. does not have specific knowledge relating to foreign entry requirements or travel documents. Customers will need to review the travel bans, warnings and notices published by the relevant government prior to booking your trip to an international destination.
Passport and visa: You must consult with the appropriate Embassy or Consulate to obtain this information. The requirements may change and should be checked before booking your reservation. We accepted no responsibility if you are refused entry to a flight or any country if not carrying the correct passport, visa or other required travel documents according to any airline, authority or country, including countries where the plane may stop over. This includes all stops made by the airplane even if you do not you leave the plane or airport.
Health: The recommended inoculations for travel can change and you should consult your doctor regarding the current recommendations. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with all health requirements, get the recommended inoculations, take all recommended medications and follow all medical advice relating to your trip.

Inability of the customer to travel due to not having the proper documentation, including but not limited to a passport valid for 6 months after the date of the trip, visas, personal identification, prescriptions and medical certificates and documents. GRUPO PENINSULAR DE HOTELES S.A DE C.V is not liable to the client of any third party due to the inability or lack of customer documents;
Failure of the client to follow instructions including but not limited to flight departure times, time and date of hotel check-in and check-out, and coupon redemption policies;
In case of cancellation or change for any reason in the travel services offered. GRUPO PENINSULAR DE HOTELES S.A DE C.V reserves the right to cancel or change the published services, but will attempt to substitute with similar services. If a reservation must be cancelled, the responsibility of GRUPO PENINSULAR DE HOTELES S.A DE C.V will be limited to a refund of all the money paid by the client;
Full refunds are not applied in situations where the trip has to be cancelled, interrupted or postponed by GRUPO PENINSULAR DE HOTELES S.A DE C.V for reasons beyond its control (including but not limited to weather conditions, hurricanes, earthquakes, strikes, wars, terrorism, etc.) and where the contractual obligations of GRUPO PENINSULAR DE HOTELES S.A DE C.V with its suppliers do not allow them to be reimbursed for the amount paid or to be paid by the client to the supplier. In these cases, GRUPO PENINSULAR DE HOTELES S.A DE C.V reserves the right to withhold 10% of the amount paid for the reservation as an administrative expense.
Although we constantly update rates, there exists the remote possibility that rates may change with notice for reasons beyond our control. In these cases, it is possible that the provider will have no way to quickly update rates in the GRUPO PENINSULAR DE HOTELES S.A DE C.V database. GRUPO PENINSULAR DE HOTELES S.A DE C.V makes periodic reviews where there may be differences between the price paid for the reservation and the price required to use the service. In cases of rate changes that result in a lower price, that price will be charged and the difference refunded. If it results in a higher price, one of our travel advisors will contact you and inform you about the change. If you disagree, GRUPO PENINSULAR DE HOTELES S.A DE C.V will refund 100% of the amount paid, but will not be responsible for any claims or inconveniences resulting from the rate change or booking cancellation.

GRUPO PENINSULAR DE HOTELES S.A DE C.V having refused of cancelled services for customers whose behavior is inappropriate or who engaged in disorderly conduct, obscene or offensive language, harassment of any kind, intoxication of drugs, alcohol or narcotics, or any other grounds that violate the interests, ownership, image and operation of GRUPO PENINSULAR DE HOTELES S.A DE C.V or its suppliers, shall be free to exercise their rights to take any necessary measures and legal action with the proper authorities to demand redress and compensation for the damages caused by the improper actions of the client.
Any complaint or written notice against GRUPO PENINSULAR DE HOTELES S.A DE C.V must be received no later than thirty (30) days after the end of the trip
Impossibility of a handwritten signature.
Due to the special characteristics of long-distance contracts, the client recognizes the impossibility of hand signing the payment letter, the document that is usually used to seal the transaction. For that reason, handwritten signatures are not used for transactions booked online through GRUPO PENINSULAR DE HOTELES S.A DE C.V and/or its suppliers.
The client is responsible for the conduct of the guests associated with the booking in cases of abnormal behavior or vandalism. In this case, GRUPO PENINSULAR DE HOTELES S.A DE C.V reserves the right to automatically cancel the stay or reservations of the guests without refund or compensation. The same applies to the accommodation facilities in which they are staying or, when appropriate, the service providers of transfers or excursions.
The client shall pay GRUPO PENINSULAR DE HOTELES S.A DE C.V any charges incurred from the conduct specified before it can be claimed by any third party. Similarly, incidents that can be resolved during the stay of the guests associated with the booking must be resolved directly by the client.
SUPPLIER RULES AND RESTRICTIONS
Reservations and purchases of goods and tourism services are subject to additional terms and conditions. Please read these terms and conditions. You agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of purchase established by the supplier with whom you choose to do business, including but not limited to the timely payment of any debt and adherence to the rules and restrictions imposed by the provider regarding the use and availability of fares, products and services. Flights are only guaranteed once the purchase is complete and tickets have been issued. Airlines and other travel suppliers may change prices without notice. We reserve the right to cancel your reservation if payment is not received in full in a timely manner. It is possible that some hotels will require you to present a credit card or submit a cash deposit at check-in for incidental charges. This deposit is in addition to any payment that GRUPO PENINSULAR DE HOTELES S.A DE C.V has received for your reservation. You acknowledge that some third parties offering certain services and/or activities may ask you to sign a release waiver to participate in the services and/or activities. You understand that the violation of any rules or restrictions above may result in cancellation of your reservation and the denial of access to tourist products or services, and that you will lose any amount that you have paid for the reservation and/or that GRUPO PENINSULAR DE HOTELES S.A DE C.V will charge your account for any expenses resulting from your failure to comply.
RESPECT OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICES.
You agree to abide by and respect the rules and conditions established by each of the suppliers and service providers contracted through GRUPO PENINSULAR DE HOTELES S.A DE C.V, so GRUPO PENINSULAR DE HOTELES S.A DE C.V should let you know which are the most important, however the supplier may inform you of new or additional conditions of service of which GRUPO PENINSULAR DE HOTELES S.A DE C.V bears no responsibility and consequently declines any responsibility that could arise from non-compliance. Also, you are responsible for providing your own passport and any immigration documents required by the Mexican authorities and countries of destination or transit, such as visas, health certificates and all documents required by customs officials, airlines, ports, airports, and federal, state and municipal governments, etc., that are necessary for your trip, freeing GRUPO PENINSULAR DE HOTELES S.A DE C.V from any problems that might arise with these authorities. In cases of international travel, you agree to arrive at the airport with proper documentation at least three hours in advance for international flights and two hours in advance for domestic flights, but for the express instruction and Received in writing from GRUPO PENINSULAR DE HOTELES S.A DE C.V and/or any other instruction presented by the foresaid authorities.
